Supply Chain Analyst

Perfect Day is commercializing animal-free dairy protein products made through fermentation in flora. We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Analyst to lead inventory management, material requirements planning, and distribution requirements planning activities. As part of a small supply chain team that is building out operational capabilities, the ideal candidate will be driven and comfortable operating in a fast paced, collaborative start-up environment.

Your Contribution:

- Leads inventory control and planning efforts including raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods

- Supports physical/cycle count and processes inventory adjustments in system

- Translates demand forecasts and finished goods production schedules into material requirements plan

- Create requisitions in procurement system according to material requirements plan

- Obtains vendor order confirmations

- Tracks and expedites vendor orders

- Issues advance ship notices

- Processes goods receipt in procurement system

- Reviews customer orders for completeness and alignment with customer agreements

- Performs available-to-promise validation and issue order confirmation

- Initiates order fulfillment with logistics function

- Collects supporting documents for quality assurance, regulatory, and finance functions

- Performs data entry in systems (e.g. ERP, PDM, TMS, WMS, P2P, etc.)

- Supports supply chain network design, inventory policy review, and reverse logistics activities

- Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of data used for integrated business planning activities (S&OP)

- Supports the integration of site specific production plans into the master plan


- B.S. business or B.S. supply chain management or equivalent practical experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions

- Demonstrates a proactive customer-first mindset

- Is highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented

- Is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in a dynamic environment

- Logistics/supply chain experience in food/dairy or biotechnology industry a plus

- Practical application of lean and six sigma tools to improve processes a plus

- Supply chain certification from ISM, ASCM (APICS), CSCMP, or similar a plus

- Proficient with MS Office and ability to learn other business applications

- Occasional travel required to perform physical inventory counts
