As our new Material Scientist, you will be a key part of the product development team. With your expertise in Material Science you will work with our tissue engineers and food technologists to perfect our production process and make sure our meats are texturally similar to traditionally produced meat.
Your activities will involve designing and optimizing all aspects of alternative materials to enhance texture, appearance and even flavor of our products. A significant part of the role will be hands-on work in our R&D facility. You will be designing and producing biomaterials that support muscle tissue development.
In addition you will perform analytical methods and cell culture experiments to compare material properties and chemistry in relation to other parameters to improve meat production. You will focus on the chemical and biological changes of the material during use.
If you are excited about this role, if you want to work in a cutting-edge research field and if you thrive in a highly motivated and energetic multi-disciplinary team, you might be the person we are looking for!
