Senior Inventory Control Analyst

JUST is looking for a Senior Inventory Control Analyst to lead solving routine inventory problems of extensive scope and complexity. This includes system analysis and reconciliation of inventory movements. The senior analyst will be integral in the development of automated solutions for inventory control and material flow in partnership with the Operations team. This position will also be responsible in stock issue discrepancy analysis, trend, root cause and related general ledger financial implications. We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on individual that works independently on complex inventory matters. The Senior Analyst will be expected to exhibit the highest professional standards and attention to detail while working on numerous routine and ad hoc accounting support functions. The Senior Analyst will report to the Accounting Director and will be directly involved with inventory control management, month-end close, and day to day general ledger inventory accounting.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Fullcycle inventory transaction recording responsibility and related issue resolution for the following non-automated processes:

- 3-way match and confirmation of goods received not invoiced

- Receipts and transfers for third party logistics providers

- Item fulfillments for drop shipments and pickup orders

- Inventory disposals and cycle count adjustments

- Work orders and advanced inventory transactions

- Other recordings of nonroutine inventory related business transactions

- Monitoring, resolution and impact analysis responsibility of automated inventory Netsuite processes and related SuiteScripts

- Develop and analyze exception reporting to identify anomalies and perpetual inventory discrepancies, report variances and independently propose resolutions

- Reviews applicable inventory stock ledger reports and inventory activity details daily to ensure accuracy, completeness and reliability of Netsuite inventory data

- Ensuring inventory is aged accurately in Netsuite

- Perform a number of inventory controlrelated tasks defined such as system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and business user inventory reporting

- Daily inventory reporting responsible for accuracy and timely reporting of inventory in Netsuite and reporting to senior management

- Reporting and recording of inventory write downs and adjustments

- Month end close valuation of inventory, inventory provision, reporting

- Audit


- 3- 5 years of combined public accounting and private industry accounting experience preferred

- 13 years of senior GL inventory experience preferred

- CPG and/or manufacturing inventory control experience preferable

- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting, required

- Excellent communication

- Great attention to detail

- Hands on and a ‘self starter’

- Netsuite experience required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent in Microsoft Excel vlookups, pivot tables, macros

- BS or BA in Accounting required

- Ability to understand the big picture

- Ability to pass a standard background check
