Program Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for driving JUST’s seamless Upstream Processes from beginning to end; this person will manage, direct and coordinate cross-functional groups including R&D, Operations, Finance and others to ensure quality production from bean to protein in a timely, cost-effective way.


- Develop and implement timelines, workflows and objectives for functions involved in the program

- Provide alternative and effective solutions to changes including analysis of financial and operational impact

- Report out key project management metrics to various functions and levels including simple financial analysis in order to help facilitate better decision making within project teams

- Ensure processes from sourcing to production meets quality standards – this includes developing sound technical knowledge of respective R&D and Quality functions

- Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects as well as external vendors and partners

- Conduct project meetings with cross functional teams to achieve scope and ensure business objectives are met on time and within budget

- Help drive continuous improvement and provide overall Project Management responsibility for all processes that contribute to business growth and efficiencies

- Drive accountability and keep respective individuals and deliverables on track

- Provide commercialization support as necessary

About You

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree with at 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, preferably in the food industry

- Demonstrated leadership

- Process development experience is helpful but not required (manufacturing capabilities/technologies, equipment selection, contract manufacturing)

- Experience in a fast-paced scaling environment

Skills & Qualifications

- Dynamic, driven, organized and detail-oriented with ability to articulate long term vision

- Excellent written verbal communication and interpersonal skills to influence across business units as well as effectively coordinating external and internal resources

- Excels at conflict resolution

- Ability to bring clarity to processes and streamline communication

- Knowledge of Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet

- Ability to pass a standard background check
