Finance Analyst - FP & A

JUST, Inc.'s FP&A department is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the team. The position will be responsible for a wide range of projects in support of business decisions and management reporting requirements for Senior Management. In this role, you will analyze financial data, compile reports, and prepare recommendations to management. You will participate in developing forecasts, creating budget comparisons and other financial reports. The key candidate will have well-established financial modeling skills, a firm understanding of finance and accounting concepts, superb analytical abilities and excellent business partnering skills.

Role & Responsibilities

Month End Reporting:

- Partner with Accounting in month-end close activity

- Preparation of month-end reporting and analysis

- Provide financial analysis that is necessary to drive growth and operational efficiencies including; month end processing, management review of budget vs. actual results and trend analysis

Day to Day Reporting:

- Preparation of operational and management reporting: Revenue, COGS, OPEX, Cash

- Design, prepare, and automate periodic dashboards / reports of operating results, trends and

- Provide variance analysis to leadership teams

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Preparation of budgets and forecasts, month-end reporting and analysis, operational and management reporting

- Assist with analysis and review of business cases for investment, including contracts, purchase orders and tracking against plan

- Become embedded with partner organizations across the company, establish trust and quickly understand the business, economics and metrics

- Develop models on trends, key business drivers and financial results to prioritize & plan investment decisions

Ad-hoc Analysis:

- Ensure that expenses are recorded accurately

- Communicate financial and accounting information and trends to the management team to ensure that real-time business decisions can be made based on sound financial data

- Drive continual process improvements

- Ad-hoc analysis as required


- BS required - Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

- Experience with food, CPG, or manufacturing companies preferred

- 2- 4 years of financial analysis and forecasting experience

- Possess A+ business acumen and project management skills, with a strong bias for data-informed decisions-making

- Excellent in Microsoft Excel- vlookups, pivot tables. SQL is a bonus.

- Advanced PowerPoint skills

- Adaptive Insights experience preferred.

- Ability to build financial models and interrogate data

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions

- Experience with data warehouses or comparable technology

- Strong analytic and accounting skills

- Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail
