Geltor is looking for a corporate Recruiter to join our team in San Leandro, CA.

We seek an experienced Recruiter to help build a talented team of scientists and business professionals. This opportunity is great for the individual who wants to shape an organization from the ground up. This role will report to our Head of People.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive full cycle recruiting for a variety of roles and levels across a growing organization

- Source, screen and attract high-quality values driven candidates

- Develop multiple sourcing channels that result in a robust pipeline of top talent

- Establish relationships with hiring managers to ensure smooth and efficient recruiting; partner to understand their needs and assist in developing and updating job descriptions

- Communicate with candidates and hiring managers regularly to ensure everyone is informed throughout the process

- Manage the job offers, including extending, negotiation and closing candidates

- Analyze interview feedback, lead interview debriefs and support informed hiring decisions

- Manage candidate activity in our ATS (Lever), maintain real-time candidate disposition status

- Leverage data to inform hiring managers and leadership informed of recruiting performance

- Ensure our hiring process is positive and inclusive to candidates of all backgrounds

- Provide interview and ATS training to hiring managers and employees.

- Support the wider People team with other projects as needed.


- Bachelors degree in a people related field – business, social sciences or equivalent

- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience with a track record of closing high-quality candidates.

- Able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics

- Able to leverage extensive knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and functional areas of the business; exceptional candidate generation/sourcing skills

- Experience creating a high touch, high quality candidate experience for every candidate

- Exemplary relationship building skills to work with a variety of personalities and become a trusted recruiting partner; must be diplomatic with excellent discretion

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and complete high-quality projects amidst tight timelines and competing deadlines; exceptional attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with and influence a variety of audiences

- A positive, open, and intellectually curious team player who embraces the challenges and excitement of an entrepreneurial business

- Enthusiasm for and commitment to Geltor’s mission

- Solid business proficiency in Microsoft Suite, LinkedIn Recruiter, and ATS (Lever a plus)

- Experience in scientific, biotech, and start-up environments preferred.
