Office & Recruiting Coordinator

As we continue to grow and scale our team, we need your help planning and managing a streamlined recruiting process and ensuring our office runs smoothly. You will work closely with our team to plan and execute key internal recruiting and office operations functions. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to working with a diverse team at an exciting, mission-driven, and rapidly growing startup.

Reports to: Finance Manager & Business Analyst

Role and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate our internal recruitment processes

- Work with hiring managers to draft, finalize, post and distribute job descriptions

- Conduct initial candidate phone screens as needed

- Schedule all phone and onsite interviews for candidates and internal interviewers

- Ensure proper candidate follow up, including but not limited to collecting references, scheduling reference checks, and assisting with the candidate offer process when required

- Manage office logistics including mail, shipments, deliveries, inventory, ordering office supplies, and other materials

- Manage our administrative files and databases

- Assist with finance and accounting tasks, including invoices, payment runs, packing lists, receipts, purchase orders and approvals

- Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, candidates, vendors and internal stakeholders

- Act as a professional representative of Clara Foods in all interactions, internal and external facing


- Bachelor’s or Associate's degree, or equal experience is required

- 1-2 years professional experience, preferably in recruiting and/or office management

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Highly organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task

- Fluency in Google Suite and MS Office is required. Experience with GoogleHire or other recruiting software is strongly preferred

- A strong level of independence and efficiency and a can-do attitude

- The flexibility and creativity necessary to deal with the shifting needs of a startup

- A self-starter who is passionate about our mission of creating the protein of tomorrow, today

- Enjoys working in a fast paced, high pressure environment

- Prior experience in a startup or with a small team is highly desirable for this role
